Product Overview

The Resolve Modular Revision Stem is a modular implant optimized to address the challenges of revision hip arthroplasty while assisting in the restoration of a stable hip joint center.

The Proximal Component is available in five height options (55, 65, 75, 85, and 95 mm) with standard and high offset neck options. It enables adjustment of version, offset, and leg length independently of distal stem fixation, providing greater intraoperative flexibility.

Three types of distal stems are available for distal fixation: the straight Taper Stem (140 mm and 180 mm), the curved Clothespin Stem (180 mm), and the curved Interlocking Stem (220 mm and 300 mm). Both Clothespin and Interlocking Stems are compatible with interlocking screws to provide additional stability in cases with a deficient femoral isthmus.

Proximal Component

Slide Standard and High Offset neck options facilitate soft-tissue tensioning and restore joint biomechanics. Titanium Plasma Spray with HA coating is designed to promote osteo-conductivity and biological fixation. The Proximal Screw is tightened to a specified torque to provide supplemental fixation between the proximal component and distal stem. The bolt hole allows an optional assistive claw and bolt to reattach the trochanteric fragment to the proximal component. The cone-shaped design offers high flexibility in version adjustment. Height options of 55, 65, 75, 85, and 95 mm are available to help restore balanced leg length. Diameter options of 19, 21, 23, and 25 mm are available to accommodate varying degrees of proximal bone loss.

Proximal Component

Slide 1 mm diameter increments allow for precise selection of the appropriate size, while smaller diameters are available to accommodate patients with a narrow femoral canal.
  • Ø11~28 mm for 140 mm Taper Stem
  • Ø12~28 mm for 180 mm Taper Stem
  • The distal stem and the proximal component are connected via a verified taper junction. The distal beveled tip in the 180 mm stem is designed to reduce interference with the anterior cortex to minimize the risk of thigh pain. The tapered shape is designed to enhance axial stability and minimize stem subsidence, while the eight splined fins are designed to provide rotational stability. Grit-blasted surface finish is designed to allow bone on-growth and long-term fixation.

    Clothespin Stem

    Interlocking Stem

Slide Interlocking screw fixation is designed to provide additional axial and rotational stability, and prevent stem subsidence. The anterior bowing of the curved long stem is designed to better match the anatomical curvature of the femoral canal while providing three-surface fixation. The distal slot is designed to reduce stem tip stiffness, improve compatibility with anterior femoral bowing, and minimize thigh pain. The 180 mm length is available and designed to provide diaphyseal fixation. Titanium Plasma Spray with HA coating is designed to promote osteo-conductivity and biological fixation. Stem lengths are available in 220 mm and 300 mm, with the longer stems allowing the management of more severe bone defects through extended distal fixation. The polished bullet tip is designed to facilitate insertion and minimize potential thigh pain.
